Last night, our Summer Institute Session I faculty Chris Kraus shared the prologue and epilogue of After Kathy Acker: A Literary Biography, a new book slated to come out at the end of August. The book follows the life and experiences of American experimental writer Kathy Acker.
After about forty minutes of reading the floor was open for a Q & A with audience members. Discussion around character development, the line between fiction and non-fiction, and the inescapability of the biographical were amongst some of the questions that came up.
The talk will be published on plugin.org/video soon. Until then, here are a few documentation shots from the night.
