This morning the Wood Land School faculty and participants viewed a screening of Kent MacKenzie's 1961 film The Exiles. The film, which was named to the National Film Registry for its cultural and historic significance, discusses indigeneity in twentith century America through the story of a group of young indigenous men and women living in Los Angeles in the 1950s.
